The Rooms
Each of the three very different rooms comes with AC, refrigerator, and
gourmet breakfast.
Sassafras Hammock - Located on the first floor with windows on three sides
(including both water and garden views), this bright and cheerful room has
a queen bed and a private bathroom (tub/shower). $110/night
Drum Point - On the second floor, both this sun-lit room and its large
private bathroom (shower) have the best water views of the house! There is
a pleasant sitting area and a queen bed. $120/night
Black Walnut Point - Our most spacious, illuminated (6 windows) and
isolated, this room is often favored by those coming on special occasions.
The private bathroom (shower) has a garden view. Queen and twin beds allow
for triple occupancy. $130/night
- Two night minimum on weekends throughout the season
- Children of 12 years and more are welcome
- Gift Certificates available.
- Dinners available for $25/person.
For those finding both Tylerton and the inn too cosmopolitan, we have
created an elevated structure called the "Green House." Tucked amid
Lobloly Pines and Cedars overlooking Glennan Marsh and Tangier Sound to the
SE, it is suitable for reading, bird watching, meditation or simple
solitude. Available without charge to interested guests, it can be
reserved for half days.
